Rearview Mirror
Plugs into the 10-pin auto-dimming mirror connector underneath the plastic mirror shroud. USB output mounts on the windshield near the mirror — easy to access and disconnect. Available on every NX from 2015 to 2026.
TSS 3.0 Computer
Shares power from the Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 lane-trace assist computer near the mirror base. Does NOT connect to the mirror itself. A second connection option for the redesigned NX platform.
TSS 2.5 Computer
Shares power from the Lexus Safety System+ 2.0 computer. Available as an alternative connection on the 2020–2021 facelift NX models alongside the DCA-10B mirror adapter.
How to Install
Mirror Install (DCA-10B) — All NX Years
- Tilt your rearview mirror down and remove the plastic mirror shroud/cover
- Locate the 10-pin mirror connector underneath the plastic mirror shroud — NOT the nearby TSS connector (if present)
- Unplug the mirror harness
- Plug the Dongar adapter inline between the harness and mirror
- Route the USB-C cable behind the headliner to your dash cam
- Replace the shroud — done
TSS Install (DCA-16T / DCA-12T)
- Tilt the rearview mirror down and remove the plastic mirror shroud
- Locate the TSS lane-trace computer connector (16-pin on 2022+, 12-pin on 2020–2021) — this is separate from the mirror connector
- Unplug the TSS harness
- Plug the Dongar adapter inline between the harness and TSS module
- Route the USB-C cable behind the headliner to your dash cam
- Replace the shroud — done

Will a Dongar adapter interfere with Lexus Safety System+ (TSS)?
No. The DCA-10B connects to the mirror, which is completely separate from the TSS system. If you use the DCA-16T or DCA-12T (which connect to the TSS computer), the adapter taps power inline without interrupting the safety sense data signal. Pre-collision, lane departure, and adaptive cruise control all continue to function normally.
How does the Dongar PRO know when to start and stop parking mode?
The Dongar PRO detects ignition state through the mirror harness. When you turn the NX off, the PRO switches to parking mode automatically based on your selected setting: IGN (off immediately), Timed (4 hours then off), or Continuous (runs until 11.8V battery cutoff, up to 36 hours). The PRO+ adds a custom timer, custom voltage cutoff, and energy budget mode for even more control.
Can I use the same adapter if I upgrade from a 2021 NX to a 2022+ NX?
Yes — the DCA-10B works on both generations. The 10-pin mirror connector is the same across all NX years (2015–2026). If you have a DCA-12T from your 2020–2021, that will NOT work on the 2022+ (which uses the 16-pin DCA-16T for TSS). But the DCA-10B transfers directly.
