Dongar
Short USB-C to RJ11 Converter
An RJ11 cable that turns your Dongar adapter into a power source for radar detectors. Connects the USB-C output from any Dongar adapter to an RJ11-powered device — giving your Uniden, Escort, or Valentine One clean, hidden power from the rearview mirror instead of a dangling cigarette lighter cord.
Key Features
- USB-C input to RJ11 output — short 30cm cable for clean routing
- Powers radar detectors — Uniden R1/R3/R4/R7/R8, Escort, Valentine One, and other devices that use power over RJ11
- Works with any Dongar adapter — Classic, Classic+, PRO, PRO+, or Compact
- Clean cable routing — power your radar detector and dash cam from the same mirror connection
- Also functions as a general-purpose USB-C to RJ11 adapter
How to Use
Plug the USB-C end into your Dongar adapter's output. Plug the RJ11 end into your radar detector. Your radar detector now gets clean, hidden power from the rearview mirror — no cigarette lighter cable, no fuse tap, no visible wires. Pair with a Dongar Classic for power while driving, or a Dongar PRO to keep your radar detector powered after parking.

It would be helpful if there was something posted to say when this will ever (if ever) be back in stock. I have installed my classic, but now have a mess without this cable. If not coming in, I need to get my equipment hardwired. It has been a ling wait
This unavailable cable is the only reason I haven't ordered my Classic yet. Too bad. I'd really like to place my order. Proposed setup is a Valentine V1 Gen 2 in a VB WRX. Hopefully Admin will reach out with updates on product availability. Be well all.
I'm with Unobtanium. If my Dongar Classic shows up and I still can't get this cable, I'll take a spare USB-C charger cable, cut it down, and crimp on an RJ-11 plug. Yes, I have the tools and have done this for other radar detectors when the RJ-11 plug broke.
This product is unavailable and unorderable for over a month (May - June 2026) ... so if your radar detector requires RJ11 for power you are SOL
Plugged in and everything seems to work with no issue.
