DONGAR PRO+

Instructions were a bit confusing when trying to set the Viofo A229 plus with parking mode. After trial and errors, all is functional.

I appreciate the possibility of changing mode at any time and having the LED screen blacked out.

I wish I would have grabbed a second one for my wife’s Infinity, the delay waiting for the batch to release created the inconvenience of having to wired the camera with the cig. lighter port and once it arrived, taking the wire off. Again, small inconvenience hence why I should have ordered a second one.

For my 2014 Lexus RX 350 the extra wire cannot really hide it behind the cover... I have to come up with a way to wrap them out of the way. Not a big issue I have it tucked up above the mirror for now. The other thing is not quite sure about why it counts down to 26 seconds and then it goes off in the parking mode or the "timer" but I think it might be cause I adjusted the voltage to 12.4 my battery might be weak and need to bring it down to 12volts I set the timer for only 40 miinutes after closing down the ignition. So all in all I like the idea it is good to have the wiring without having to bend like gumby to get under the dashboard! And the features are helpful

I've been using a pre-production PRO+ for several months now, since late Spring. It's performed flawlessly in my Toyota RAV4 with a Viofo A329T dash cam. I finally received the full-production PRO+ from the company recently, but I can't say I'm motivated to make the switch. As they say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

Works as advertised. Set-up is quite simple. Adjusting settings is very easy.

Just wish the body of module was thinner to allow user to tuck it out of sight.
