HOW IT WORKS

Learn more about the super sleek and simple install of our plug-and-play adapters. →

01. POWER

Most modern vehicles have some form of power running through the front. Most commonly, it's found in the rearview mirror—for features like auto-dimming, garage remote, or a compass—but can also be found in other built-in features, such as dome lights, lane-assist systems, or rain sensors.

02. PLUG

Dongar adapters let you plug directly into these existing connections, so your dash cam draws power where it’s already available. Installation couldn’t be easier: simply plug the Dongar adapter into the original power port, and its dual-power design keeps both your dash cam and factory features working seamlessly.

03. HIT THE ROAD

Enjoy peace-of-mind with a clean, low-profile setup, free from the distraction of dangling wires.

Why Choose Dongar?

FUTURE-PROOF TECHNOLOGY
Ours are the only dash cam adapters to feature a true USB-C port able to output 5V, 9V, and 12V, unlike other brands that only output 5V. Dongar adapters can charge the most powerful dash cams, radar dectectors, and even USB-C smartphones.
ADVANCED BATTERY PROTECTION
Our dedicated team is based in the US with engineers in Europe. Dongar USB modules are 100% custom-made for quality, and include added features to protect against overcurrent and overvoltage.
CLEAN, COMPACT OEM INTEGRATION
Sleek and key-fob sized with vehicle-tailored connectors, Dongar adapters are designed to preserve your car’s factory look. Your windshield stays wire-free, your cabin stays uncluttered, and your tech feels built-in.
