Will it work with my vehicle?

This is an outstanding piece of tech. I also have the donger pro which I bought last year. But this one's even better! Super easy to install. And works. No issues at all.

Just got it installed recently and so far it is working fine

Just got it installed recently and so far it is working fine.

I did have a couple of issues that were resolved.

First, when selecting the proper adapter cable for my 2026 Toyota Tundra Platinum, I was not sure whether to use the 5A or 5B (which is labeled 5C). Some documentation said to use the 5B while the back of the included manual said to use the 5A. Started with the 5B and got nothing. After some metering to make sure I had power to the plug in the truck, I switched to the 5A and everything powered up properly. The big
difference is where the ground pin is located in the adapter cable.

The second issue was with the parking mode not working with my Rove R2-4K Dual dash cam but thanks to the help of Bill who explained in detail why things would not work because of a cabling issue then pointed me to a kit on Amz that had a conversion cable that he thought would work. He was correct! I can now use the Dongar Pro+ with my Rove R2-4K Dual in parking mode and it works fine.

I am now playing with where to set the cutoff voltage while in parking mode. Right now I have it set to 11.75v. Had the Rove in motion detection mode which does eat up more power than collision detection so the unit cut off sometime during the night but the truck started without a problem. Have switched to collision mode which is really what is needed so will see how that goes.

Please note that the suction cup mount that I used with the Dongar Pro+ -did not- come with the unit but I was able to get one that I could modify via Eby and for only a little over $3 with free shipping.

Overall, I'm happy and especially happy with Dongar's customer service!
