What's so special about Dongar adapters?

Unlike other dash cam adapters, which require a complicated process of routing wires around your car, or – worse – leave distracting wires dangling across your windshield, Dongar adapters offer a quick, simple, and clean solution to power your dash cam.

how it works:

    STEP 1

    As you would with any electrical work, ensure your vehicle is off.

    STEP 2

    Access your rearview mirror connector and unplug it from the mirror.

    Some vehicles may have what's called a 'shrouded' rearview mirror. In this case, you may need to remove part of the plastic encasing surrounding the mirror.

    STEP 3

    Install the adapter in between the mirror and wiring harness.

    STEP 4

    Connect and mount your dash cam! Turn on your car to test that the adapter is set up properly and transmitting power.
