LX600 owners (2022–2024): You have two connection points — the 10-pin auto-dimming mirror (DCA-10B) and the 12-pin TSS computer (DCA-12T). Both work independently, and the DCA-10B can be paired with the Dongar PRO (PMA-01) for parking mode capability.

LX570 (2008–2011)

The earliest LX in the Dongar lineup uses the DCA-5B, which plugs into the domelight connector. Simple, clean, and completely hidden inside the overhead console.

LX570 (2013–2021)

The refreshed and facelifted LX570 uses the DCA-10B, which plugs into the auto-dimming rearview mirror connector underneath the plastic mirror shroud. For parking mode, the Dongar PRO (PMA-01) is also available as a standalone alternative — it replaces the DCA-10B and adds parking mode intelligence.

LX600 (2022–2024)

The current-generation LX600 supports three products: DCA-10B (mirror), DCA-12T (TSS computer), and the Dongar PRO (PMA-01) for parking mode. Multiple connection points give you flexibility depending on your setup.

LX600 / LX700h (2025+)

The newest LX models — including the all-new LX700h hybrid — use the DCA-16T exclusively, which taps into the updated TSS computer near the mirror base.

Connection Points Explained

💡 Domelight Cavity

DCA-5B (LX570 2008–2011)

Plugs into the domelight connector inside the overhead console. The adapter and cable live entirely hidden inside the ceiling trim — invisible from the cabin.

🔌 Rearview Mirror

DCA-10B (LX570 2013–2021, LX600 2022–2024)

Plugs into the auto-dimming mirror connector underneath the plastic mirror shroud. USB output mounts on the windshield near the mirror — easy to access and disconnect.

🛡️ TSS Computer

DCA-12T (LX600 2022–2024) • DCA-16T (2025+)

Shares power from the Lexus Safety System+ computer near the mirror base. Does NOT connect to the mirror itself. The DCA-16T is the sole option for the newest LX600 and LX700h models.

Don't confuse the connectors! Behind the mirror shroud on the LX600, you'll see both the mirror connector (10-pin) and the TSS computer connector (12-pin). They look similar but are different products for different connectors. The DCA-10B pamphlet warns: "Most Toyotas have a 12-Pin Safety Sense Connector that can easily be confused with your rearview mirror connection: DO NOT UNPLUG THIS." Use the Compatibility Finder to confirm which adapter you need.

How to Install

Mirror Install (DCA-10B) — LX570 2013–2021 & LX600 2022–2024

  1. Tilt your rearview mirror down and remove the plastic mirror shroud
  2. Locate the 10-pin mirror connector underneath the plastic mirror shroud — NOT the nearby TSS connector
  3. Unplug the mirror harness
  4. Plug the Dongar adapter inline between the harness and mirror
  5. Route the USB-C cable behind the headliner to your dash cam
  6. Replace the shroud — done

Domelight Install (DCA-5B) — LX570 2008–2011

  1. Pull the overhead console / domelight assembly straight down (requires firm force — it clips in)
  2. Locate the domelight connector inside the cavity
  3. Plug the Dongar adapter into the connector
  4. Route the USB-C cable to your dash cam
  5. Push the domelight assembly back into place — done

TSS Install (DCA-12T / DCA-16T) — LX600 & LX700h

  1. Remove the plastic mirror shroud to access the area behind the rearview mirror
  2. Locate the TSS computer connector (12-pin on 2022–2024, 16-pin on 2025+) — it is separate from the mirror connector
  3. Unplug the TSS harness
  4. Plug the Dongar adapter inline between the harness and TSS module
  5. Route the USB-C cable to your dash cam
  6. Replace the shroud — done

BlackVue and Thinkware use DC barrel plugs — special cables are in development.
